Introduction

Our platform integrates social posts into interactive maps to enhance travel content and provide valuable insights for travellers across the globe. These community guidelines are established to ensure that all social media posts embedded in our travel content map uphold high standards of quality, legality, and respect for privacy. By participating in this initiative, influencers agree to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Content Quality and Relevance

1.1 Relevance and Value: All posts must provide valuable, informative content relevant to travel. Posts should be engaging and well-crafted, avoiding any misleading or false information. Posts should contribute positively to the traveller’s experience and provide valuable insights or information about travel destinations, experiences, or tips.
1.2 Visual Standards: Images and videos should be of high resolution and visually appealing. They should accurately represent the travel experience being shared.
1.3 Accuracy: Ensure that all information provided in the posts is accurate, truthful, and fact-checked. Avoid spreading false or misleading information. Verify your sources and provide accurate information. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.
2.1 Originality: Posts must be original content or properly attributed to the original creators. Appropriate permissions and credits must accompany any use of copyrighted materials. This includes images, videos, and text. Any third-party content must be credited appropriately.
2.2 No Copyright Infringement: Posts must not infringe on the copyrights or trademarks of others. Influencers should verify that they have the right to use any content before submission.
3.1 Respect for Privacy: Influencers must respect the privacy of individuals featured in their posts. This includes obtaining consent from any individuals who may appear in photos or videos. Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Sensitive Content: Posts should avoid sharing sensitive or private information about individuals or locations without explicit permission.
3.3 No Hate Speech: No hate speech, harassment, or discrimination will be tolerated.

4. Conduct and Behaviour

4.1 Professionalism: Influencers are expected to conduct themselves professionally. This includes respectful communication and adherence to the guidelines set forth.
4.2 Feedback and Comments: The company reserves the right to monitor comments and feedback on embedded posts. Any misconduct, inappropriate comments, or feedback that violates these guidelines may result in the removal of the post.
4.3 Compliance: Ensure that your posts comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to privacy laws, copyright laws, and platform policies.

5. Moderation and Review

5.1 Listing Approval: Submitted content will be reviewed individually. In addition to the criteria for listing and rejection outlined in this document, influencers should consider the following checklist to understand potential reasons for rejection:
5.1.1 No Spam: Refrain from spamming or promoting excessive self, brand and agency promotion. Content must not reference temporary occurrences, such as traffic conditions or natural disasters (e.g., floods). Itinerary pricing must not be included in the content due to seasonal variations, as this content is intended for long-term storage. 
5.1.2 Content Authenticity 
  1. All posts must reflect genuine experiences and opinions. Misleading or fabricated content will result in rejection.
  2. Influencers should avoid using stock images or content that does not represent their personal brand or experiences.
5.1.3 Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
  1. Content must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including advertising standards and FTC guidelines for sponsored content.
  2. Influencers must disclose any paid partnerships or sponsorships clearly and conspicuously in their posts.
5.1.4 Brand Alignment
  1. Content must align with the company's values, mission, and branding guidelines. Posts that conflict with the brand image will be rejected.
  2. Influencers should ensure that the content is appropriate for the target audience and does not contain offensive or controversial material.
5.1.5 Quality Standards
  1. All content must meet established quality standards, including resolution, clarity, and overall presentation. Poor-quality images or videos will be grounds for rejection.
  2. Posts should be free from grammatical errors, typos, or any form of unprofessional language.
5.1.6 Respect for Privacy
  1. Influencers must obtain consent from individuals featured in their posts, ensuring that personal privacy is respected.
  2. Content must not disclose sensitive information about individuals or locations without proper authorization.
5.1.7 Timeliness and Relevance
  1. Content should be timely and relevant to current trends and events in the travel industry. Outdated or irrelevant posts will not be accepted.
  2. Influencers should regularly update their content to reflect the latest information and experiences.
5.2 Content Delisting: The company reserves the right to delist any post, with or without prior notice, if any comments, feedback, or misconduct are reported or observed. This includes instances where the content violates these guidelines, infringes on copyright or privacy laws, or poses a risk to the company's reputation.
5.3 Privacy Policy Agreement: By submitting content for embedding, influencers acknowledge and agree to comply with the company's privacy policy and other relevant agreements. This includes understanding the implications of data usage and content sharing.
5.4 Feedback and Appeals: If you have any concerns, feedback, or believe a post has been wrongfully removed, please contact us at care@touratu.com. We will review your feedback and take appropriate action.
5.5 Report Violations: If you encounter any violations of these guidelines, please report them to our moderation team.
5.6 Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove violating content, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other appropriate actions to maintain a positive community.

6. Liability and Indemnification

6.1 Limitation of Liability: The company is not liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from the content shared by influencers. Influencers agree to indemnify the company against any claims resulting from their posts.
6.2 Compliance with Laws: Influencers must ensure that their content complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including advertising standards and consumer protection laws.
6.3 Amendments: Touratu may update these guidelines periodically. Continued use of our platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised guidelines.

By submitting content for review, influencers acknowledge that they have read and understood these guidelines. By adhering to these guidelines, influencers contribute to a positive and enriching experience for users engaging with travel content on our map. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the removal of content and potential disqualification from future collaborations. Influencers agree to indemnify the company against any claims arising from their submitted content. By following these guidelines, you contribute to a vibrant and informative community that fosters a love for travel and exploration.
